Our contributors are compensated for their submissions, which are subsidized by advertisements and magazine sales.Issue #1 will be a 500 copy print run, primarily distributed through online sales and convention pop-ups. Discounted digital copies will also be avaliable.
Response to our first issue will determine if FurMag will be a Quarterly or Bi-Yearly Publication.
Meet Our Managing Editor
|Zafy| is a painter, sculptor, and performance artist based in Central Ohio.Under the name Heehaw the Drag Donkey, they have produced and performed in drag shows across the midwest and beyond, including co-producing AnthroOhio's 2026 drag show and Furrest City's unofficial afterparty drag show. Having been a furry since 2011, they are a hobbyist collector of historical furry print media, and run the small archival project Anthropomorphics Archive .|Zafy| graduated from the College for Creative Studies Detroit with a BFA in Entertainment Arts. |
